Are You A Control Freak?

Updated: Jun 14, 2018

A wise person does not finish another person's speech. The greater your respect is for another person, the less likely you are to control them.

The urge to control others is often a result of low self esteem. Dominating others is an attempt to compensate for feelings of inferiority.

If You Find Yourself Controlling Others

You are saying "I don't think too much of myself".

The result is always frustration. Learn to speak softly especially when you are angry.

Showing Respect For Others Is Self-Respect

When you show proper respect for others, you develop positive self esteem.

We all need help at one time or another, if we can accept help it will lessen our need to control others. Even the wisest person seeks advice of lesser wisdom. Take an honest look at yourself and see whether you find yourself trying to control others. You will be better liked by others and you will like yourself much more to the extent you can eliminate your tendency to control others.
